Sue combines a background in business and finance with the “softer skills” of working with people and communication to bring a mix of pragmatism, sensitivity and creativity to the team.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, she has over 25 years’ experience in training and developing people – in both line management and Learning and Development roles.
When she was young she alternated between wanting to own and shop and wanting to be a pilot. Running her own business has given her a little of the former and but the closest she gets to the latter is travelling to faraway lands. Her ambition is to one day visit the Southern Hemisphere!
With over 25 years’ experience in training, Carol also brings HR expertise to our team and our clients. She is an enigma – being equally at home with quality assuring practices, and using her creative flair. As a team we value her attention to detail and sense of justice.
From a very early age Carol had her sights on entering the world of journalism or becoming an author. Unfortunately work experience at a local newspaper ended the former ambition – it was not quite the glamorous gig she had envisaged and mostly involved interviewing owners of pets with unusual talents. Her most exciting encounter was meeting Dave Prowse who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars film “A new hope” – now that’s worth writing on your CV!
But what about the writing ambition? Well there’s still a book in her somewhere …
With too many years experience to mention in training and facilitation, Alex now specialises in action learning, one to one coaching and leadership training. She is the resource investigator of the team with a permanently positive albeit pragmatic approach and a never ending supply of new ideas and experiences to bring to the table. When she was younger she wanted to be a paramedic when she grew up but eventually saw the light believing that her skills were best suited in less traumatic and catastrophic circumstances where it is less about telling & doing and more about encouraging & motivating. Alex loves what she does and everyone says that her passion and enthusiasm is evident in everything she does.
Having had many years’ experience in training and facilitation, Jane is now studying for a PhD in Organizational Psychology as well as working as a consultant. She is the big picture thinker of the team with a rigorous approach to all her work and a keen sense of fun too. When she was growing up, she wanted to be a competitive swimmer but now feels that swimming is something that she can really enjoy as a way to relax and keep fit.
